Yep, right in the middle of the Swine Flu Outbreak, the Obama administration followed the CDC orders to STOP TESTING for the H1N1 Swine Flu and stop counting individual cases.
The CDC rationale was that they should not waste resources testing for H1N1 when the government had already confirmed there was a pandemic?
“The Swine Flu has a different epidemiology, affects younger people more than seasonal flu and has been shown to have a higher case fatality rate than other flu virus strains," said some public health officials in 2009.
The media and Democrats have said “(Vitale is) dangerous and putting Ohioans’ health and safety at risk.” Yet they claimed nothing of the sort about then President Obama when he stopped testing.
And let us remember that back in 2009, the CDC said, “If you've been diagnosed "probable" or "presumed" 2009 H1N1 or "swine flu" in recent months, you may be surprised to know this: odds are you didn't have H1N1 flu.” CBS news reported, “In fact, you probably didn't have flu at all.” That's according to state-by-state test results obtained in a three-month-long CBS News investigation.
The CDC went on to state, “The ramifications of this finding are important. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Britain's National Health Service, once you have H1N1 flu, you're immune from future outbreaks of the same virus.”
How do we know these COVID-19 tests are reliable and the labs are reliable along with them? Do you trust the government, the tests, and the labs?
Why are people waiting in long lines in the heat, to get tested, when they are not sick?
