Twelve Republican Senators joined 9 Democrats to defeat the written consent measure for contact tracing. Those twelve Republican no votes were Burke, Dolan, Steve Huffman, Kunze, Blessing III, Eklund, Hackett, Johnson, Lehner, Manning, Schuring and Wilson.
Senate Bill 31 limits the power of the governor and any health care order by stating in lines 14-15 of the amendment, “The order shall not require an individual to comply with the tracing and monitoring efforts.” Those 12 senators chose NOT to protect your privacy.
If I am walking down the grocery aisle on Monday, will I get a knock at the door, or a call on Saturday, letting me know that my phone went down the same aisle as someone who has now tested positive for COVID-19 and I have to be put under a forced 14-day quarantine?
Back on May 12, I posted about the dangers of contact tracing and the infringement on Ohioans constitutional rights. The main dangers of contact tracing are:
• The government will track all phones using Bluetooth technology to see who you have been in contact with and eventually migrate to 4G and 5G so you cannot turn off the tracking. Apple already sent out their update.
• Thousands of army agents in Ohio, as Acton said, will find you and force you into isolation (her words).
• They will remove you or a family member from your home if you only have one bathroom (in the video).
This all sounds rather shocking, but it was all stated in the 3-minute video linked below, of various health and elected officials, as to what their collective and centralized plans are.
Remember, the Ohio House passed SB31 which would prohibit tracing unless one gives full written consent. The Senate has now rejected that bill as of Wednesday, June 3rd. It looks like the Republican led senate is okay with tracking and supports Dr. Acton’s plans of illegal search and seizure. And given Sen. Steve Huffman is a doctor, maybe the health care industry is okay with tracing us as well.
In contrast, the bill author and sponsor, Sen. Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson), urged the senate to accept the Ohio House written consent changes. Roegner believes the language added by the House, including a provision that prevents local boards of health from doing contact tracing on individuals without the written consent of those individuals, "creates common sense protections." She said that sending a bill to conference committee just to tweak language "can turn into legislative purgatory."
Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. Whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government
Section 1.14 of the Ohio Constitution states, “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and possessions, against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated.”
It makes me wonder, did they even read the very document they swore to uphold?
